The ingredients needed to make Gnocchbokki:
  1. Make ready Half a bag of Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi
  2. Prepare 6 frozen dumplings
  3. Get 2 tbsp gochujang
  4. Make ready 1 tsp gochugaru
  5. Make ready 2 cups chicken broth (or anchovy kelp broth if you have it)
  6. Take 1 tsp cornstarch
  7. Prepare 1/2 tbsp sugar
  8. Prepare 1 slice cheddar cheese
  9. Prepare Green onions
  10. Make ready Sesame seeds
Instructions to make Gnocchbokki:
  1. Pan fry or boil the gnocchi and dumplings. Set aside.
  2. Combine the gochujang, gochugaru, and sugar in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Add chicken broth to same pan and boil on medium-high heat. Stir in the paste from step 2 and dissolve. (I used about half of the paste bc I like spicy but not too spicy!)
  4. Add ingredients from step 1 back to the pan and the green onions. Stir in the cornstarch to make the sauce thick.
  5. Turn off the heat, add your slice of cheese and some sesame seeds. Enjoy!
