- Take the squid in a bowl and add all ingredients under 'To marinate'. Mix really well and keep aside for 30 mins.
- Heat a frying pan and tip the marinated squid in. Saute in medium flame for 3-4 minutes, the squid will release some water as it cooks. Once the water starts to reduce, pour in the coconut oil and stir well in medium-high flame, making sure the squid doesn't burn and stick to the pan.
- Keep sauteeing in low flame till all the water evaporates and the squid is coated well in the masala.
- Serve with hot rice or chapathi's.
